Nano Pro Fluid Tripod Head
Nano Pro Fluid Head
The Foundation of a Hunter's Lightweight Glassing System
Built for Backcountry Glassing
The Nano Pro Fluid Head was designed as the foundation of a lightweight glassing system — not as a standalone accessory. At just 8.2 ounces, it delivers smooth, stable glassing for hunters who spend long days behind the glass and demand smooth, controlled movement without unnecessary weight.
Despite its ultralight construction, the Nano Pro confidently supports full-size spotting scopes, binoculars, and optics setups commonly used in western big game hunting. This balance of weight and performance allows hunters to stay steady, patient, and effective in the field — especially during extended glassing sessions.
Why a Fluid Head Matters
The Nano Pro's smooth fluid-damped tilt makes it easier to scan terrain, track animals, and glass comfortably for long periods. Compared to ball or pan heads, fluid-damped tilt reduces fatigue and improves stability — especially when paired with modern optics.
Most fluid heads capable of this level of control weigh over a pound. The Nano Pro delivers the same smooth performance at a fraction of the weight, without relying on compromises common in ultralight pan or ball head designs.
Purpose-Built, No Excess
At MTN HNTR, we focus on feature sets that matter in the field. The Nano Pro reflects this approach: simple, reliable, and intentionally designed for hunters who prioritize performance over unnecessary complexity.
Controls are simple and easy to reach, and the adjustable lightweight handle allows fine control while maintaining a compact, packable profile.
Designed to Work as a System
The Nano Pro Fluid Head is engineered to pair seamlessly with our Carbon Fiber MTN SS and Swift TS tripods. Together, they form a balanced lightweight system that optimizes stability, packability, and ease of use — which is why most hunters choose the Nano Pro as part of a complete tripod kit.
